Jet2 expands Greece programme for Summer 26 in response to demand

Following continued demand from British holidaymakers looking to enjoy some much-needed sunshine, Jet2 has expanded its Summer 26 programme to Greece by adding more capacity to four popular Greek destinations.

The UK’s favourite airline and tour operator has put nearly 30,000 extra seats on sale to Crete (Chania), Crete (Heraklion), Kos and Santorini for this summer from across four of its UK airport bases. The extra services are available from July to September 2026 from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted Airports, and the expansion makes Jet2 the largest operator to Greece from the UK this summer.

With its sunny climates, idyllic islands and culture aplenty, Greece is continuing to enjoy enormous popularity with holidaymakers, and this latest expansion from Jet2 means holidaymakers have even more choice and flexibility when it comes to visiting the sunshine favourite this summer.

Jet2 will operate to 15 Greek destinations this summer - Athens, Corfu, Crete (Chania), Crete (Heraklion), Thessaloniki (Halkidiki), Kalamata, Kefalonia, Kos, Lesvos (Mytilene), Preveza, Samos (new for Summer 26), Santorini, Skiathos, Rhodes and Zante.

As a result of this expansion, Summer 26 represents Jet2’s biggest ever programme of flights and holidays to Greece, with over 3.5 million seats on sale for Summer 26 and 131 routes, including 25 new routes. This programme means more than 360 weekly departures to the popular destination from the UK at key periods during the summer, making Jet2 the largest operator to Greece from the UK this summer.

Holidaymakers travelling to Greece with Jet2 benefit can choose from leisure flights with Jet2.com or ATOL protected package holidays with Jet2holidays, as well as having the opportunity to experience the industry-leading customer service which has seen the brand be recognised as a Which? Recommended Provider for ten consecutive years. Customers travelling with Jet2.com receive that same industry leading customer service, friendly low fares, great flight times and 10kg hand luggage allowance.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Greece is an enormously popular destination, and it continues to appeal to customers and independent travel agents looking to enjoy some much-needed sunshine. As the UK’s favourite airline and tour operator, we know just how much holidaymakers love these Greek destinations, and we are delighted to be once again stepping in to meet demand. Summer 26 will be our biggest ever summer programme to Greece, and we are cementing our position as the UK’s largest airline from the UK to sunshine favourite by putting on even more flights.”
