Sponsored by easyJet holidays, the Europe Responsible Tourism Awards assessed all businesses based on criteria including transparent evidence, replicability, innovation, impact, sustainability, and overall commitment to responsible tourism. The evaluation was carried out by a distinguished jury chaired by Prof. Harold Goodwin, Executive Director of the Responsible Tourism Partnership and Founder of ICRT Global, and consisting of NGO representatives, members of the press, and managers of tourism agencies. The awards were presented at a ceremony in Brussels.
