The Peninsula Beverly Hills, redefining luxury while preserving its legacy

The hotel's renovated rooms and penthouse blend French elegance with Californian comfort, reviving the golden age of Beverly Hills.

Resembling a private residence built in the classic Renaissance style, The Peninsula Beverly Hills is undergoing an elegant renovation, including its 195 rooms and spacious penthouse.

To shape this new era, the hotel is collaborating with the world-renowned interior design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates, which holds deep respect for French-inspired aesthetics.

Offer Nissenbaum, General Manager of The Peninsula Beverly Hills: “As we prepare to celebrate our hotel's 35th anniversary in 2026, this renovation aims not only to add modern touches, but also to continue our legacy and reflect the care and craftsmanship that has defined The Peninsula Beverly Hills since its inception.”

The renewed design blends the elegance of the past with contemporary hospitality, offering guests a warm and comfortable living space. The elegant fabrics used in the rooms, featuring pastel tones of powder blues, soft pinks, and pale greens, create a calm, home-like atmosphere. Every detail in the rooms is designed with a balance of beauty and functionality, featuring new desks, quartz marble surfaces, and French-inspired upholstery. Bergère-style chairs and elegant sofas, reflecting the hotel's commitment to craftsmanship, add sophistication and comfort to the spaces.

To maximize natural light and a sense of spaciousness, the layout of each room is being redesigned. Carefully selected porcelain vases, gold-framed mirrors, and soft metal wall sconces enhance the hotel's elegant character.

Details from the hotel's founding period—Rose Aurora marble bathrooms specially selected from Portugal and artworks signed by Hampton Hall, with whom the hotel has worked for many years—are carefully preserved.

In addition, curtains are being reproduced by the original manufacturers to preserve the hotel's characteristic patterns.Beverly Hills' iconic penthouse is also being renovated with the same meticulous attention to detail.

New, expanded luxury cabanas and additional sun loungers offer guests the ultimate poolside experience. Ten exclusive cabanas, adorned with the hotel's iconic yellow-and-white stripes, are equipped with modern comforts such as high-definition televisions, Bluetooth sound systems, and personalized all-day dining service. This comprehensive renovation redefines the elegant, timeless, and unique Peninsula experience.
