Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu made statements about Kemer and tourism to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

In the interview published on the website and social media accounts of the association, “Stating the number of tourists hosted by the Kemer region in 2024, Mayor Topaloğlu said, “Antalya Airport hosted approximately 15 million tourists in 2024. Of this, 2 million 850 thousand chose Kemer as a holiday destination. This number once again revealed Kemer's strong tourism share in Antalya. There is an 18 percent increase compared to 2023. This increase is a result of both the interest in Kemer's nature and our digital promotion attack. We can say that especially our “VisitKemer” campaign has put Kemer on the world's radar again."

Speaking about the share of Kemer among Russian tourists coming to Antalya, Mayor Topaloğlu said, "In 2024, exactly 1 million 67 thousand of the 3 million 500 thousand Russian tourists arriving at Antalya Airport spent their vacation in Kemer. In other words, one out of every three Russian tourists prefers Kemer. On the other hand, 37 percent of the 2 million 850 thousand tourists coming to Kemer are citizens of the Russian Federation. This clearly shows how strategic Kemer is for the Russian market." He used his expressions.
