Jet2.com put Winter Sun programme on sale for 26/27

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have today announced the launch of their biggest ever Winter Sun programme, with more seats and choice on offer for Winter 26/27 across all 13 of their UK airport bases. The programme includes two brand-new winter routes as well as a significant expansion to their Morocco, Malta and Madeira programmes.

As demand from holidaymakers looking to escape the long British winter drives yet another year of growth, the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator have put 4.4 million seats on sale for next winter. This represents a capacity increase of 4% when compared to Winter 25/26, making it Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ largest Winter Sun programme to date.

A choice of 14 winter sun destinations have gone on sale from across Belfast International, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, London Stansted, London Luton, Manchester and Newcastle International.

With Winter Sun destinations such as Mainland Spain and the Balearics continuing to enjoy enormous popularity, the companies have put two new winter routes on sale from their newest UK airport bases – Bournemouth to Malaga and London Luton to Palma (Majorca) – as well as significantly expanding their Morocco, Malta and Madeira programmes.

In all, millions of seats are on sale across popular winter sun destinations in the Canary Islands (Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura), Mainland Spain (Alicante and Malaga), Majorca (Palma), Portugal (Faro and Madeira), Turkey (Antalya), Malta, Morocco (Marrakech and Agadir) and Cyprus (Paphos) and during peak periods, the airline and tour operator will operate over 600 weekly outbound flights. (the full programme is broken down by base below).

The release of the programme today comes in response to demand from holidaymakers looking to book ahead and enjoy some winter sunshine. It also makes Jet2.com and Jet2holidays the first airline and major tour operator to go on sale with Winter 26/27, giving customers and independent travel agents the opportunity to book their place in the sun for next winter early.

Over the coming weeks, the airline and tour operator will also reveal details of their Ski, City Breaks and Iceland programmes for Winter 26/27.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are seeing continued demand from customers wanting to escape the long British winter, so we have stepped in and put our Winter 26/27 programme on sale from all 13 of our UK airport bases. We are pleased to be offering our biggest and most exciting Winter Sun programme ever, giving customers and independent travel agents even more choice and flexibility for next winter. As ever, we have designed our programme in direct response to ongoing demand from holidaymakers, so as well as launching two new winter routes, we are delighted to be expanding our Winter offering to other fantastic destinations too. We are not done yet, with even more exciting announcements about our Winter 26/27 programme coming soon!”
