It was reported that US singer Katy Perry will make a space journey.

In a statement made by Blue Origin, the aerospace company owned by US businessman Jeff Bezos, regarding the space journey that will take about 10 minutes within the scope of the NS-31 mission, it was stated that in addition to Perry, Bezos' fiancée Lauren Sanchez, journalist Gayle King, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, scientist Amanda Nguyen and filmmaker Kerianne Flynn will be among the passengers in the space flight planned to take place in the spring with the rocket named 'New Shepard'.

No date information on when the launch will take place was shared. It will be the 11th manned space flight of the New Shepard rocket. The rocket has carried 52 people into space so far.
