It was reported that Russian tourists' trips abroad  in 2024 increased by 15.4 percent compared to the previous year to 17.4 million and that they mostly visited Türkiye.

In the statement of the Russian Tour Operators Association (ATOR), 2024 evaluations regarding the country's tourism sector were included.

In the statement, it was stated that the foreign travels of Russian tourists increased by 15.4 percent in 2024 compared to the previous year to 17.4 million, and Türkiye was at the top with a 38.5 percent share in total travels.

The United Arab Emirates had 11.4 percent, China 10.9 percent, Thailand 10 percent, Thailand 10 percent, Egypt 8.5 percent share, the statement said, adding that trips to Türkiye increased by 6.3 percent to 6.7 million in the period in question.
