Radisson completes 2024 as a record year with more than 300 projects

Radisson Hotel Group reported a
record-breaking year, adding nearly 40,000 keys to its brand portfolio in 2024,
further strengthening its worldwide presence. Radisson Blu remains Europe's
leading luxury brand for the 13th consecutive year and the Group is now the
leader in the upscale resort category in EMEA.

With a clear vision of growth and development set by
the Radisson Hotel Group's transformation plan, the Group was able to achieve
the following successes across its portfolio in 2024:
Since its launch in 2018, the Radisson Collection
brand has grown to nearly 70 hotels by 2024 and realized significant portfolio
growth in key destinations. These developments include the signing of the first
Radisson Collection properties in Paris and Madrid, the signing of the Group's
third Radisson Collection property in Riyadh and the opening of flagship hotels
in Rome (Italy) and Srinagar (India). In the heart of Paris, the Radisson
Collection hotel is located in an iconic heritage-protected Haussman building
just steps from the Louvre Museum and Le Marais district. In Madrid, the
Radisson Collection hotel will open in the iconic Generali building on Alcala
Street, one of Madrid's most important avenues in the prestigious Canalejas
district.
Radisson Hotel Group, in partnership with PPHE Hotel
Group, opened the art'otel London Hoxton in May. Located in the vibrant Hoxton
area, the hotel combines the captivating artwork of Signature Artist D*Face
with cutting-edge design. The Group will also open an art'hotel property in
Rome in early 2025, marking the brand's first opening in Italy.
Radisson Blu achieved great success last year, adding
more than 20 new hotels to its portfolio, reflecting its strong momentum in
EMEA and APAC. This growth included openings and signings that redefined the
skyline of some of the world's most famous cities, such as Casablanca
(Morocco), where the property is located in the city's new financial district.
The recently opened hotel in Conakry is an important addition to Guinea's
vibrant capital and is not only a new market entry, but also a significant
expansion of the Group's footprint in West Africa.
Radisson RED has opened in several new markets,
including Danang (Vietnam), Berlin (Germany), Auckland (New Zealand), Vientiane
(Laos) and Abuja (Nigeria). The opening of Radisson RED Galway, located in
Galway's newest district, Crown Square and close to Galway's city center, marks
the brand's Irish debut. Just 200 meters from the iconic Patong Beach, Radisson
RED Phuket Patong Beach is the brand's first opening in Thailand. The hotel
takes the guest experience to new levels with its own RED radio station.
First launched in 2020, Radisson Individuals has
become one of the fastest growing brands in APAC, adding almost 15 new hotels
to its portfolio in 2024, including Udaipur and the Saket area of South Delhi
(India). In EMEA, the brand continued its growth by expanding in countries such
as Oman, Sardinia, Turkey, France and the UK. In the UK, the brand strengthened
with openings in Surrey and Bolton, gaining a prominent position in the North
West of England, particularly with the hotel connected to the headquarters of
Bolton Wanderers Football Club.
Towards the end of the year, the Group rebranded its
mid-scale lifestyle brand prizeotel as Prize by Radisson. The new hotels
announced in Gdansk (Poland) and Berlin (Germany) marked a significant
milestone in the brand's growth strategy.
With more than 150 properties in operation and under
development, the Radisson Hotel Group is the industry leader in the upscale
resort category. New openings and signings were announced in breathtaking
destinations, including an addition to the Group's existing hotel portfolio in
Mauritius. This stunning property is set in a prime location on the east coast
of Mauritius, on one of the island's most pristine beaches.
As we step into 2025, Radisson Hotel Group will
continue to expand and focus on strategic geographies with the right brand and
solution for each market, creating more possibilities and opportunities for
stakeholders.
