Greek Consulate wants to increase the number of visas it issues to Turkish nationals.

From Schengen News, As the number of applications filed by Turkish nationals for Greek Schengen visas increases every year, the Greek authorities have decided to increase the number of visas it will issue.

The Greek consul general in Istanbul, Konstantinos Kutras, has announced plans to issue more than 200,000 visas in 2025, with tourism figures expected to hit record highs.

The Greek Consulate in Istanbul is the largest in Türkiye and has already received the highest number of visa applications from Turkish applicants.
