It was stated that flights were suspended due to heavy snowfall in the UK.

A second degree warning was issued due to snowfall in the central part of England, some regions in the northwest and most of Wales. The runways of Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon airports in the northwest of the country were closed to flights.

Authorities warned that there may be delays in flights.
