A small plane crashed in southern Brazil, killing 10 people, officials said.

A small plane crashed into a residential area in the tourist city of Gramado in Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul state. In the accident, 10 people on board lost their lives.

Authorities said a fire broke out in the area where the plane crashed and 15 people were affected by smoke.
