SunExpress to increase capacity by 20% in the UK

SunExpress will offer a capacity of 1.9
million passengers on flights to the United Kingdom in the summer season 2025,
increasing passenger numbers by 20 percent compared to the summer season 2024.
SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and
Lufthansa, is expanding its UK flight network.
The airline strengthens its position by offering more
options to its passengers with 178 weekly flights from a total of 11 airports
in the UK. As of April 2025, the company will start operating flights from
Glasgow Airport to Antalya and Dalaman, and from Liverpool John Lennon Airport
to Antalya for the first time.
In addition, SunExpress will increase its flights from
London Stansted Airport to 26 weekly flights and will also offer connections to
Dalaman and Kayseri. By 2025, SunExpress will serve 11 airports in the UK,
including Luton, Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Newcastle,
Bristol, Leeds Bradford, Stansted, Glasgow and Liverpool. With the new routes,
the company will offer approximately 1.9 million seats in the market,
increasing its capacity by 20 compared to the 2024 summer season.
