Celestyal, the cruise company that stands out with its cruise programs focusing on the Aegean and Mediterranean, was welcomed with a magnificent celebration in Dubai, where it visited for the first time in the Arabian Gulf destination. Celestyal fleet flagship Journey's first visit to Dubai was celebrated with a dhow escort under the lights, plaque ceremonies and a star-studded party.

Celestyal CCO Lee Haslett said of the welcome at the new destination: “Today marks a significant milestone in our history as we proudly visit Dubai for our first season in the Arabian Gulf. Our entry into the port was a magical moment and we have officially launched our long-term relationship with this fascinating destination. We thank our partners in the region, the local port authority and look forward to a successful first season and beyond. Dubai is an iconic destination for our guests and an essential stop on our Desert Days itinerary. As a truly global city, Dubai offers in-depth experiences and is a bucket list destination.”

Celestyal will continue its first season in the Arabian Gulf until March 2025 and will follow this route during the winter season for three years. At the end of 2025, Celestyal Journey will be joined by Discovery in the region. Abu Dhabi will be the home port in a 3-year partnership. In this program, Journey will operate 3-night 'Iconic Arabia' cruises on long weekends, calling at Doha and Sir Bani Yas Island after Abu Dhabi, and 4-night midweek 'Iconic Arabia' cruises from Abu Dhabi, calling at Fujairah, Muscat and Khasab.
