Accor to open five more Ibis hotels in Germany

Accor will open five more hotels in the economy segment in Germany in the next few months. These include a home at Munich Airport and two hotels at the airport in Berlin.

An Ibis and an Ibis Budget are scheduled to welcome their first guests at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport as early as spring 2025. Each house has 114 rooms and the common areas include a lobby, reception and café, as well as a parking garage with a “Park & Fly” option. An S-Bahn connection is nearby.

Ibis Styles Munich Airport will follow mid-year with 358 rooms, an open lobby with a variety of seating options, restaurant, bar, separate breakfast area and co-working spaces. A children's area and a self-service food market are also planned. In addition to the hotel's own parking spaces, the hotel will also be connected to local public transportation in the future.

Ibis Styles Neckarsulm will also open in the spring. The hotel has 97 rooms, a restaurant and electric charging stations in the parking lot. Ibis Styles Hamburg Hafen City is also planning to welcome its first guests in the middle of the year. With 403 rooms, a breakfast restaurant and a hotel bar, the hotel aims to position itself as an affordable design hotel in the Hafen City area, according to Accor. (Touristik Aktuell)
