DRSF appoints DERTOUR for guests of bankrupt We-Flytour

The German Travel Assurance Fund (DRSF) has authorized DERTOUR to handle the return of package tour guests of the bankrupt We-Flytour.

We-Flytour's bankruptcy filing is clearly stated in a letter sent to travel agency partners. DERTOUR also informed the travel agencies about the procedure to be followed.


Accordingly, the DRSF comes into play for those who have purchased package tours from the bankrupt We-Flytour. In the case of Turkey and similarly in other destinations, the situation is organized as follows: DERTOUR has instructed its local agent in Turkey to contact the hotels where We-Flytour guests stayed and make the necessary arrangements. In addition, DERTOUR has informed the local hoteliers about DRSF's cost recovery and assigned an employee to answer any questions.


Since the bankruptcy of We-Flytour GmbH was established on November 22, the DRSF will cover the accommodation costs from this date. DERTOUR is also arranging return flights and transfers for the affected guests. DRSF has guaranteed cost reimbursement in these matters as well. DERTOUR's agent, Destination Touristic, has contacted We-Flytour's local representative and mobilized for the return. If the DRSF decides that travelers should return early, DERTOUR will cover these costs. However, there are currently no such plans.

Until December 10, We-Flytour's future, not yet started trips have been canceled until December 10 and will be subject to the refund process.
