Russian President Vladimir Putin has asked to extend the zero VAT for hotels until the end of 2030.

According to the news on Gazetem.ru, the Kremlin statement read as follows: “The Russian government, together with the State Duma of the Federal Assembly, should introduce amendments to the law on taxes and duties, which would extend the zero VAT rate for the provision of temporary accommodation services in hotels and other accommodation facilities until December 31, 2030.”
