Railway workers in France have decided to strike indefinitely as of December 11.
The 4 main unions within the French railway company SNCF announced that they decided to stop work indefinitely as of December 11 against the government's decision to restructure the company after the European Union (EU) investigation.
CGT, UNSA, SUD Rail and CFDT, the unions operating in the country, made the statement. Accordingly, the unions did not receive a concrete response to their demands at a meeting with SNCF management on November 5. The unions decided to strike indefinitely on December 11, starting at 19.00 local time.
