A portable walkway has been built at Rome's historic Trevi Fountain, which is under maintenance.

While maintenance work continues at the historic Trevi Fountain in Rome, the capital of Italy, a portable walkway has been set up in the pool area so that visitors can see the fountain's sculptures up close.

The Municipality of Rome has set up a portable walkway to allow visitors to see the statues, especially the statue of Poseidon on the fountain, and other statues up close. The portable bridge was inaugurated by the Mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri.

Gualtieri noted that thanks to the portable bridge, both Romans and tourists visiting the city will have the opportunity to see the Trevi Fountain in a different way while the work is ongoing.
