Spain has faced the most severe flash floods for centuries, leading to a death toll of over 200 people and leaving dozens missing. TUI Care Foundation’s Fundraising appeal will work with local partner organisations for social support of affected communities. To amplify impact, TUI Care Foundation has pledged to match donations received, doubling the support for those in need.

As devastating flash floods sweep through communities in the region of Valencia and other parts of eastern Spain, families and neighbourhoods are facing unimaginable challenges. In the aftermath of this tragedy, where the death toll has already risen to more than 200 and many remain missing, countless people have lost their homes, belongings, and sense of security. To offer long term social support to affected communities, the TUI Care Foundation has set up a fundraising appeal.

The fundraising appeal will support local communities affected by the flash floods in Spain. Working closely with local partners on the ground, the TUI Care Foundation will provide long-term social support to help affected communities to recover.

Every euro or pound donated to the TUI Care Foundation’s fundraising appeal will be directed to projects in Spain that offer essential aid to flood victims. To amplify the impact, TUI Care Foundation has pledged to match donations received, doubling the support for those in need. So for each euro or pound contributed, the Foundation will add an equal amount.
