Tickets for space tourism on sale, first trip in 2027

Chinese company Deep Blue Aerospace has started selling tickets for space tourism.

Chinese company Deep Blue Aerospace announced that it will start providing suborbital space tourism services in 2027. The company sold two tickets for 1.5 million yuan (210 thousand dollars) each for the suborbital expedition.

China's Deep Blue Aerospace said the crewed spacecraft has six panoramic windows, can carry six passengers and is designed to be used more than 50 times. The spacecraft, which has a height of about 4 meters and a maximum diameter of 3.5 meters, has a take-off weight of 7.9 tons.

The company also reported that the flights will last about 12 minutes, during which time the spacecraft will reach an altitude of 100 kilometers, but will not enter orbit.
