Euroairlines and Discover the World announce a global partnership

This agreement allows the Spanish company to issue tickets worldwide through the Discover the World system.

Discover the World has announced a partnership with Euroairlines, a European provider of full-service, low-cost and hybrid airline solutions, which will offer its distribution system in more than 50 countries through leading GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport and others. In addition to providing direct channels and integrations with key players such as OTAs, consolidators and travel agencies worldwide, Euroairlines, through its IATA Q4 code, will offer global ticketing through its ticketing system.

Discover the World will reinforce the brand in key markets as its sales representative. Euroairlines is committed to providing a superior level of quality and service in line with Discover the World's core values. With the latter's global reach, the two companies will work together in strategic markets to offer a seamless solution to airline customers around the world.

“We are very pleased to partner with Euroairlines to help our airline partners generate more revenue and sales in new countries and channels. By working with such an innovative technology company, Discover's menu of airline services now includes exciting solutions ranging from sales to distribution”, said Aiden Walsh, Global Director of Business Development at Discover the World. “This partnership provides more options to help our industry continue to grow and consolidate markets”, he adds. Euroairlines CEO Antonio Lopez-Lázaro says: “By accessing our Q4 solutions, Discover the World's airline partners will now be able to combine Discover's sales capabilities, based on both real-time and historical market KPIs, with Q4’s global GDS and ticketing services. This will enable airlines to grow their revenues in a sustainable way”.

“When combined, these services create an important distribution niche, consisting of global reach and local expertise”, he explains. Director of Markets and Channels, Guillermo López-Lázaro, also values the initiative: “The collaboration with Discover the World is strategic, as we have identified important synergies between the services of both companies, in particular with our virtual accommodation system and Q4 ticketing services. I am confident that together we can generate more revenue and enhance Discover the World's existing network of airline partners”, he says.
