Spain has set another record by welcoming a total of 64.8 million tourists in the first eight months of the year.

Despite all the protests, Spain welcomed a record number of international visitors this summer, Agence France Press reported. In August, 10.9 million tourists visited Spain, which reached 64.8 million in the first 8 months of 2024.

The country that sent the most tourists to Spain in the summer was the British with 4.17 million British tourists. Britain was followed by France (3.75 million), Germany (2.49 million) and Italy (1.35 million). The number of US tourists also increased by 13 percent to 850 thousand.
