Extremadura is opening its doors to highly skilled professionals in the tech sector by offering financial support of up to €15,000 to digital nomads.

An autonomous region on the border with Portugal, Extremadura is one of the least visited regions in Spain. To address this, the regional government of Extremadura is providing financial support of up to €15,000 to digital nomads who relocate to the region.

In an effort to rejuvenate the population and economy, officials in Extremadura have allocated a budget of €2 million to assist 200 remote workers and digital nomads in settling in the region.
