Czechia, like the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, and France, is also dealing with the negative impacts of overtourism. To address this issue, the Czech government has proposed new regulations aimed at limiting short-term rentals in popular cities like Prague.

According to Euronews, the bill, approved by the Czech government this month, grants municipalities the authority to restrict Airbnb-style accommodations.

This move is expected to stabilize property prices and protect local residents from the pressure of tourism.
