Hotel operators and travel agencies on China’s Hainan Island are predicting a significant increase in the number of Russian tourists during the 2024/25 winter season.

With the expansion of air travel and improved services for Russians, Hainan has already seen a rise in Russian tourist numbers. The island aims to further boost these numbers by introducing the all-inclusive concept in hotels and hiring Russian-speaking staff.
