Members of the Istanbul Tourism Association will attend the International Tourism Summit Asia Conference and B2B Networking Event in Thailand free of charge.
The Istanbul Tourism Association, which has undertaken
significant projects to strengthen the international representation of
Istanbul’s tourism sector, has signed another strategic partnership for the
“International Tourism Summit Asia Conference and B2B Networking Event,” one of
the most prestigious organizations in the global tourism industry.
Members of the Istanbul Tourism Association will be
able to attend the massive event, scheduled to take place in Pattaya, Thailand,
from May 12–16, 2026, free of charge. As part of the partnership between the
Istanbul Tourism Association and TravelShop Booking, members will be offered a
one-week free participation opportunity, and free B2B meeting tables will also
be allocated to enable them to establish one-on-one business connections with
international tourism professionals.
Bringing together the world’s most distinguished
speakers, global tourism investors, international hotel chains, tour operators,
airlines, destination managers, and top-level decision-makers in the tourism
sector, the event holds significant importance for Turkey and, in particular,
Istanbul’s tourism industry.
Through the B2B networking sessions to be held as part
of the event, members of the Istanbul Tourism Association will have the
opportunity to meet one-on-one with high-level tourism professionals,
procurement managers, investors, and industry decision-makers from around the
world. This important platform will provide Istanbul-based tourism companies
with the opportunity to establish new business partnerships, expand into new
markets, grow their international customer networks, and develop strong
commercial connections in the global tourism arena.
In his remarks on the subject, Murtaza Kalender stated
that their goal is to represent Istanbul’s significant potential in tourism
more strongly on the international stage.
Murtaza Kalender, who has garnered attention for his
visionary work on behalf of the sector as both Chairman of the Board of the
Istanbul Tourism Association and Chairman of the Board of TravelShop Booking,
is widely recognized by the industry for the international partnerships he has
established to strengthen Istanbul’s tourism sector on a global scale.
In his statement, Kalender said: “Our goal is to
strengthen Istanbul’s tourism sector, increase the diversity of tourism
products in Istanbul, expand the customer base, and extend the tourism season
to 12 months. In this context, as the Istanbul Tourism Association, we continue
to develop and strengthen our partnerships to promote Istanbul more effectively
on international tourism platforms and in the global tourism arena.”
In this regard, we have invited all members of our
association to attend the International Tourism Summit Asia Conference and B2B
Networking Event to be held in Thailand, free of charge. No registration fee or
B2B table fee will be charged to our members. We are offering all our members
the opportunity to participate completely free of charge.
This event is not merely a conference; it is a
powerful trade and networking platform where direct contact can be established
with decision-makers from the tourism sector across the globe. The connections
our Istanbul-based tourism companies will establish here will lead to
significant commercial partnerships in the future.
We place great importance on contributing to Türkiye’s
and Istanbul’s attainment of the position they deserve in the tourism sector by
sharing the same platform with tourism stakeholders from all over the world.”
This significant initiative, led by Istanbul Tourism
Association President Murtaza Kalender, is viewed as a strategic step toward
promoting Istanbul tourism more effectively in the international market.
In particular, thanks to free participation support,
free B2B table assignments, and the opportunity for one-on-one meetings with
the world’s most influential tourism decision-makers, members of the Istanbul
Tourism Association will have the opportunity to establish strong business
connections in the global tourism market.
This significant step taken by the Istanbul Tourism
Association on behalf of the industry stands out as one of the most important
international initiatives that will contribute to the growth of Turkish tourism
on a global scale.
