China's commerce ministry ​on Friday released ‌measures aimed at expanding consumption ​by foreign ​tourists, pledging to ⁠grant visa-free ​entry to more ​countries and improve visa-free transit policies.

Reuters – The ​measures also ​encourage airlines to offer ‌more ⁠discounts on connecting flights with long layovers ​in ​China ⁠and for local authorities ​to host ​more ⁠sports events.
