Destinia acquires Travel Republic and Netflights in the United Kingdom: set to become a major player in Türkiye

Destinia has acquired the UK's established
travel brands Travel Republic and Netflights as part of its expansion plans in
the UK market. Both brands, known for their long history and strong customer
base, will continue to operate with the support of Destinia's technological
infrastructure and operational strength.
This acquisition enables Destinia to enter the UK
market through these brands, which have strong recognition among British travel
consumers. Destinia emphasizes that it aims to maintain the high guest
satisfaction and quality standards that Travel Republic has consistently
upheld.
Ricardo Fernández, CEO of Destinia Group, commented:
“Travel Republic and Netflights are brands that have built long-term
relationships with their customers. Our goal is to support the brands with our
existing systems and scale while maintaining the service standard that
customers are accustomed to and trust.”
Destinia announced that it will prioritize service
continuity for customers and expand its vacation and flight options,
particularly for Mediterranean destinations such as Spain, Portugal, Italy,
Greece, Türkiye, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia. This expansion will be supported
by strong direct partnerships in these markets. This acquisition is part of
Destinia's comprehensive international growth strategy.
In line with this commitment, Destinia has appointed
Holidaymine as the Group's Strategic DMC Partner in Türkiye. Together with
Holidaymine, Destinia Group is determined to strengthen Travel Republic's local
presence across Türkiye, leveraging the country's rich natural, historical, and
cultural landscape.
